Email documents into a transaction

Every transaction has its own address. Forward attachments to it, or connect Gmail or Outlook.

Updated September 24, 2026

Each transaction has its own email address, shown on the file as Forward documents to this file with a Copy button. Forward the signed addendum or the inspection report there and it's filed on the transaction. PDFs are read, so a new closing date moves the deadlines.

Use your own mailbox

  1. Open Transactions and click the envelope icon (Email forwarding).
  2. Click Connect Gmail or Outlook.

Each transaction then gets an address on your own mailbox, like [email protected], or you can put the file's tx-… tag in the subject. Your inbox is checked every 5 minutes.

Mail from people who aren't on the file

Email from your team or a party on the transaction is attached straight away. Anything else is held for you in the Waiting for your OK card on the transaction. Choose Add to this file or Dismiss.

Attachments up to 25 MB are accepted. Emailing an address adds to an existing transaction; it doesn't create a new one.
